All cabarets for the 2025-2026 season will be held in the Mandell Theatre at Orlando Shakes. All seats will be a ticketed admission. Drinks are not included in the ticket price but are available for purchase at the lobby bar.

Pianist, vocalist, composer, and all-around outstanding entertainer, Ms. Carol Stein, performs her new holiday cabaret Carol's Carols: A Musical Holiday Celebration on December 10 and 11, 2025 for the Winter Park Playhouse Spotlight Cabaret Series. The Playhouse cabarets are currently being performed in The Mandell Theater at Orlando Shakes located at 812 East Rollins Street, Orlando FL 32803.

Join Ms. Stein for a fun-filled evening of holiday music, ranging from traditional tunes to original compositions, to stories and sing-a-longs, each piece in her unique signature style!

Carol Stein, a world-renowned performer, began her classical piano studies at the age of four. She achieved her Master's Degree from the University of Florida and then lived abroad for many years. Her travels as a musician brought her to the Montreux Palace in Switzerland, the Century Court in Tokyo, the Oasis Lounge in Hong Kong, and Carnegie Hall in New York.

Carol performed at Walt Disney World for over 32 years, playing at the world-famous Rose & Crown Pub in the United Kingdom Pavilion at EPCOT. She has been a guest solo artist with the Space Coast Pops Orchestra under the direction of Maestro Richard Hayman, performing her own compositions and orchestral arrangements. She was a pianist with the Jacksonville Symphony performing the works of Marvin Hamlisch.

Carol enjoys composing and spontaneously arranging pieces during live performance. For example, she may take a child's melody and turn it "inside-out" in the style of Mozart, then a Duke Ellington swing, and then a bossa nova.

She has experience as a studio musician and has recorded several albums: The Piano Bar (her own compositions), Carol Stein Live (traditional standards), The Piano Lady (elegant pianistic ballads), and The Jazz Lady (swinging standards with her group Stein and Friends). The Carol Stein & Friends Jazz Band has been performing together for 30 years and is featured on The Jazz Lady recording.

The Winter Park Playhouse Spotlight Cabarets are being performed inside the Mandell Theatre at Orlando Shakes located at 812 E. Rollins Street, Orlando, FL 32803. Tickets are $23 and all seats are reserved.

The cabaret will be filmed and available to enjoy virtually Friday, December 26th through Monday, December 29th, 2025. A private link will be sent at 5:00 pm on Friday, December 26th, and will be valid for 4 days. Virtual tickets are $20 and can be purchased online or by calling the box office.
