Another unique entertainment option at The Winter Park Playhouse is our Spotlight Series of cabarets in the beautiful lobby piano bar. Enjoy an assortment of beverages from the Tuscan inspired mahogany bar while experiencing true “New York style” cabaret. Carol Stein will return to The Winter Park Playhouse with her new solo cabaret, I Love A Piano on May 16 and 23, 2013 as part of the popular Spotlight Cabaret Series.

Carol Stein is a native Floridian. Her travels as a musician have spanned the globe including Carnegie Hall in New York, Montreux Palace in Switzerland, The Oasis Lounge in Hong Kong and Walt Disney World. She has experience as a studio musician, has recorded four solo albums and enjoys composing and spontaneously arranging musical pieces during live performances. She has been honored as the guest solo artist with the Space Coast Pops Orchestra under the direction of Maestro Richard Hayman, performing her own compositions and orchestral arrangements.

After many years performing as the resident musician for the improvisation troupe at The Comedy Warehouse on Pleasure Island, Carol currently performs as a solo artist, in a jazz quintet and as the “Hat Lady Pianist” at the world-famous Rose and Crown Pub at the United Kingdom Pavilion in EPCOT Center. Tickets are $20 and include a drink from the bar. Standing room tickets are $10. No drink included. Seating is limited to 54, so advance reservations are strongly recommended.
