Spotlight cabaret series
Another unique entertainment option at The Winter Park Playhouse is our Spotlight Series of cabarets in the beautiful lobby piano bar. Enjoy an assortment of beverages from the Tuscan inspired mahogany bar while experiencing true “NewYork style” cabaret. Each show is approximately 50 minutes in length and features a fabulous singer and pianist. Due to very limited seating and popularity, advanced purchase and early arrival is recommended.

Kate Zaloumes Kicks Off the New Year at
The Winter Park Playhouse

The Spotlight Cabaret Series January 4 and 5, 2012
Kate Zaloumes, with pianist Christopher Leavy, will kick off the New Year with her Cabaret, “Seeing Rainbows in My Wine,” in the popular Winter Park Playhouse Spotlight Cabaret Series Wednesday, January 4 and Thursday, January 5, at 7:30 pm.
Tickets are $20 and include a drink from the bar. (Standing room tickets are $10. No drink included.)
“Seeing Rainbows in My Wine” is Kate's cabaret debut at The Winter Park Playhouse and will feature an assortment of jazz standards and musical theatre favorites. Kate earned her BFA in Musical Theatre and wowed Playhouse audiences as the Lady in Red in SHOUT! The Mod Musical and most recently in Anything Cole!
“Kate's incredibly rich, gorgeous voice and her comfortable rapport with the audience, guarantee a fabulous evening!" states Playhouse Executive Director, Heather Alexander.
Seating is limited to 54, so advance reservations are strongly recommended.
