We are excited to welcome you back and want to reassure you that the health and safety of our patrons, artists and staff is a top priority. The Winter Park Playhouse will continue to follow federal, state and local mandates regarding COVID-19 and has implemented extensive measures to ensure a safe, clean environment. 1. Permasafe: The entire building (lobby, theatre, bar, restrooms, door handles, etc.) and all walls and surfaces have been treated with a product called Permasafe which is approved by the CDC and kills 99.9% of germs/viruses on contact for one year.


2. UV Lights in A/C Units: All seven of the building's air conditioning units have had Germicidal UV lights installed. These lights work in conjunction with the filtration systems to optimize indoor air quality and neutralize pathogens, viruses, bacteria, mildew, and mold.


3. Raised stage: The old 6" theatre stage has been removed and a new, 18" high stage has been installed. This will provide better social distancing between artists and patrons.


4. Face coverings: Patrons, staff and technicians must wear face coverings/ masks at all times. Patrons may temporarily lift the mask to sip a beverage and then must put mask back on. *Please note: All face coverings (whether disposable or reusable) must be made with at least 2 layers of breathable material; Fully cover the nose and mouth; Fit snugly and be secured with ties or ear loops. Bandanas, neck gaiters & face coverings containing valves, mesh or holes of any kind are not acceptable face coverings.


5. Cleaning: Cleaning and disinfecting of all public and non-public areas with an electrostatic fogger and hospital grade, non-toxic cleaner will occur before and after each performance.


6. Touchless fixtures: Touchless faucets and soap dispensers have been installed in all restrooms and touchless hand sanitizer stations will be available throughout the building.


7. Temperature checks: Patrons will have a contactless forehead temporal scan before entering the building and anyone with a temperature over 99.6°F will not be permitted to enter. If you have any symptoms of COVID-19 or don't feel well, please stay home.


8. Bar: Staff will wear masks and gloves at all times.


9. Social Distancing: Patrons will be reminded by signage and staff to keep a safe distance from others in the lobby, restrooms and upon entering and exiting the theatre. Distancing and capacity in the theatre will be determined by local government mandates.


10. Signage: Signage to support physical distancing, mask use and personal hygiene will be present throughout building.

COVID-19 Warning: An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is a highly contagious disease that may result in personal injury, severe illness and death. By attending live performances at The Winter Park Playhouse, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19. All patrons must follow The Playhouse's health and safety protocols.
